Terms of Service
The terms that govern your enrolment in any FutureMBA Elective or Subscription. Plain English where possible; legal precision where required. Read them — the material disclaimers are on this page, not in the marketing.
Material disclosure
FutureMBA is not an accredited educational institution and does not confer a Master of Business Administration degree.
“MBA” in our name stands for Method, Action, Behaviour — our approach to performance-based capability uplift. It does not refer to the Master of Business Administration qualification. We are not affiliated with any university, accredited business school, or government regulator. If you require an accredited qualification, FutureMBA is not the right product. See Section 2 below for the full position.
“FutureMBA,” “we,” “us,” “our” means FutureMBA Pty Ltd (ACN to be confirmed), an Australian proprietary limited company, together with its agents and contractors.
“Member,” “you,” “your” means the natural person who accepts these Terms by submitting an application, completing payment authorization, or accessing any non-public surface of the FutureMBA platform.
“Elective” means one of the six modular programs published on this site (Commercial, Financial, Strategic, Brand, People, AI) and any program added to the catalogue during the term of your subscription.
“Subscription” means the Executive Subscription product giving annual access to every Elective in the catalogue during your paid term.
“Application” means the request to enrol submitted through the apply mechanism, including the payment authorization placed at submission time.
“Site” means futuremba.education and any sub-domain operated by FutureMBA.
FutureMBA is a private learning platform that publishes structured professional-development programs delivered across written, visual, audio, and video formats. We are an Australian private company; we are not a university, college, or registered training organisation (RTO).
“MBA” in the name FutureMBA stands for Method, Action, Behaviour — our approach to performance-based capability uplift. The acronym is intentional and is used throughout the program to denote our methodology, not a qualification.
If you require an accredited qualification, FutureMBA is not the right product. We have published this position prominently and in writing because we want every applicant to make an informed decision.
By submitting an Application, authorising payment, or accessing any gated content on the Site, you confirm that you have read these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Guarantee and agree to be bound by them.
If you do not agree, do not submit an Application and do not use the Site beyond its public marketing pages.
You must be at least 18 years old to apply. FutureMBA does not knowingly accept applicants under 18.
You must provide accurate information in your Application. Material misrepresentation in your Application is grounds for refusing approval, cancelling enrolment without refund, or terminating access.
FutureMBA reviews every Application and reserves the right to approve or decline any Application in our reasonable discretion. Decline reasons are not required to be disclosed.
Enrolment in any Elective or the Subscription is by Application. At the point of Application, you complete a short form and authorise payment via Stripe.
Payment authorization places a hold on your nominated card for the full price of the Elective or Subscription. No charge is captured at this stage.
Card authorizations expire automatically — typically within seven (7) days for one-time payments — if FutureMBA neither captures nor cancels the hold. If your Application is not decisioned within the authorization window, your card hold will be released by your card issuer automatically.
On Application approval, FutureMBA captures the authorized amount (single Elective) or creates the recurring Subscription using the authorized payment method (Subscription path). You will receive an enrolment confirmation by email with credentials to access the Elective(s).
On Application decline, FutureMBA cancels the authorization. No charge is made. You will receive a decline email; we are not obligated to disclose the reason for decline.
If you do not complete payment authorization (i.e. you exit Stripe Checkout without completing), your Application is treated as withdrawn and is not reviewed.
Prices stated on the Site are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are exclusive of any applicable goods and services tax (GST), value-added tax (VAT), or sales tax, which Stripe may collect at checkout based on your billing address and the prevailing rates.
Single Electives are sold for the price stated at the point of Application. Lifetime access to that Elective is included.
The Executive Subscription is sold as an annual product, paid in full at the time of capture. The Subscription automatically renews on its anniversary date unless you cancel before that date. The Subscription is not pro-rated mid-year, and partial refunds for an in-progress Subscription year are not provided except where required by law (see Section 8 and Section 17).
Stated savings (for example, “save $2,275 versus buying programs separately”) are calculated against the list price of six single Electives at the time of publication and are subject to change.
The Subscription renews annually on the anniversary of your first capture. We will send a renewal reminder by email at least fourteen (14) days before the renewal date.
You may cancel future renewals at any time before the renewal date via the Stripe Customer Portal (linked from your account) or by emailing admissions@futuremba.education. Cancellation stops the next renewal charge and preserves your access for the remainder of the current paid year.
Cancellation does not refund or pro-rate the current paid year except where required by Australian Consumer Law (see Section 17) or under the Completion Guarantee (see Section 9).
Thirty-day full refund. You may request a full refund within thirty (30) days of the date your card was captured. Refunds are returned to the original payment method within five (5) business days of approval. To request a refund, email admissions@futuremba.education.
After thirty days, refunds are at FutureMBA’s discretion except where required under Australian Consumer Law or under the Completion Guarantee.
Refunds for the Subscription within the thirty-day window return the full annual amount paid; your access is revoked at the time of refund.
Two guarantees apply to FutureMBA Electives. Both are honoured as drafted; both are subject to the eligibility conditions stated here.
Both guarantees are subject to the integrity of the request. Repeated invocations or invocations made in bad faith may, at our discretion, void future eligibility.
These guarantees sit on top of, and do not replace, any non-excludable rights you have under Australian Consumer Law or equivalent consumer law in your jurisdiction.
On approval, you will receive an unlock passphrase and instructions to set an account password. The account is personal and non-transferable.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at admissions@futuremba.education immediately if you suspect your credentials have been compromised.
Sharing your account, your unlock passphrase, or the materials you download with anyone outside your immediate household or team licence is a material breach of these Terms and may result in termination of access without refund.
All curriculum, written materials, audio, video, frameworks, templates, prompts, and other content published by FutureMBA (collectively, the “FutureMBA Materials”) are the intellectual property of FutureMBA Pty Ltd, our authors, or our licensors, and are protected by Australian and international copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property laws.
On enrolment, FutureMBA grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access the FutureMBA Materials for your own personal and professional use. You may download templates and worksheets and apply them to your own work and your employer’s work. You may not redistribute, republish, resell, sublicence, or grant access to the FutureMBA Materials to any third party.
Work you produce by applying the FutureMBA Materials to your own business (for example, a completed negotiation brief, a rebuilt P&L model, a strategic thesis) is yours. We claim no ownership over your work product.
Trade marks and brand assets. The following are trade marks and brand assets of FutureMBA Pty Ltd (collectively, the “FutureMBA Marks”) and are protected under Australian and international trade mark law, common-law passing-off, and the Australian Consumer Law:
Reservation of rights. All rights in the FutureMBA Marks are reserved. No use, reproduction, modification, association, endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, affiliation, or trading on the FutureMBA name, image, or likeness — whether commercial or non-commercial — is permitted without prior written consent from FutureMBA Pty Ltd, except for fair reference to FutureMBA as a third party (for example, naming FutureMBA as the issuer of your certificate, or honestly describing your enrolment in an Elective).
Prohibited uses include, without limitation: (i) using the FutureMBA Marks in a way that suggests endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, or affiliation where none exists; (ii) selling, reselling, or sublicensing access to FutureMBA Materials or the FutureMBA Marks; (iii) using the FutureMBA name, framework, or likeness to promote a competing or substantially similar program, course, or curriculum; (iv) impersonating FutureMBA or any FutureMBA representative in any medium; (v) registering domain names, social handles, or trade marks that incorporate the FutureMBA Marks or are confusingly similar; and (vi) training or fine-tuning any machine-learning model on the FutureMBA Materials without prior written consent.
Right of publicity. The image, likeness, voice, and signature of any FutureMBA founder, faculty member, or contributor used on the Site or in the FutureMBA Materials may not be used by you for any commercial, promotional, endorsement, or testimonial purpose without prior written consent. This protection survives termination of your enrolment.
Permission requests. To request written permission to use any FutureMBA Mark or any image or likeness associated with FutureMBA, write to admissions@futuremba.education describing the proposed use in writing. Silence is not consent; permission must be expressly granted and may be revoked at our discretion.
Enforcement. FutureMBA actively monitors and enforces its rights in the FutureMBA Marks. Unauthorised use may give rise to injunctive relief, an account of profits, statutory and common-law damages, and the recovery of legal costs, in addition to any other remedy available at law or in equity.
On completing an Elective (including the capstone work), FutureMBA issues you a private certificate of completion and a LinkedIn-verifiable credential.
The certificate is a private credential issued by FutureMBA. It is not an accredited qualification. It does not confer a degree, diploma, or any qualification recognised by an accrediting body or government regulator.
The LinkedIn-verifiable credential is provided as a convenience for the member’s own use on their professional profile. We do not represent it as equivalent to a credential issued by an accredited institution.
You may use the certificate and credential on your professional profile and in professional contexts, provided you do not represent them as equivalent to an accredited qualification.
FutureMBA Materials are provided for general education and professional development. They are not professional advice in any regulated discipline (legal, financial, taxation, medical, engineering, or otherwise). Nothing in the FutureMBA Materials constitutes regulated professional advice and should not be relied upon as such.
Examples used in the FutureMBA Materials are illustrative. They may be drawn from real situations or composed for teaching purposes; the framework being taught is the substance, not the example.
FutureMBA does not warrant, guarantee, or promise any specific career, commercial, financial, or business outcome from completing any Elective. Outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including how you apply what you learn, your existing skill and context, market conditions, and the actions of other parties.
Where the Site uses outcome language (for example, “career-defining,” “MBA-level frameworks,” “immediate impact,” or similar), that language describes the design intent of the program and the buyer the program is built for. It is not a promise of any specific outcome you will achieve.
FutureMBA programs include instruction on the use of third-party artificial intelligence tools (including but not limited to large language models such as OpenAI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini). FutureMBA is not affiliated with these third-party AI providers, and our reference to them is for educational and operational purposes only.
Outputs from AI tools are produced by third-party systems and are not warranted by FutureMBA for accuracy, suitability, or fitness for any purpose. You are responsible for verifying any AI output before relying on it in real-world decisions.
Where prompts, prompt libraries, or AI-augmented templates are part of the FutureMBA Materials, they are provided “as is” and subject to the third-party AI provider’s own terms of service. We do not warrant that AI outputs will be reproducible, accurate, or aligned to your expectations.
You agree to use FutureMBA only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict the use and enjoyment of, FutureMBA by any other member.
Breach of this section is grounds for termination of access without refund and may give rise to legal action.
You may terminate at any time by cancelling future Subscription renewals (if applicable) and ceasing to use the Site. Cancellation does not refund the current paid period except as set out in Sections 8 and 9.
FutureMBA may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these Terms, in which case any refund is at our discretion subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Sections 11 (Intellectual Property, Name, Image, and Likeness), 13 (Educational Disclaimers), 17 (Limitation of Liability), 18 (Indemnity), and 21 (Governing Law) survive termination.
Important. This section limits our liability to you. Please read carefully.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any equivalent law in your jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to the paragraph above, to the maximum extent permitted by law:
Where you are a “consumer” for the purposes of Australian Consumer Law and we are entitled to limit liability for failure to comply with a consumer guarantee in relation to services that are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic, or household use, our liability is limited (at our option) to (a) the supply of the services again or (b) the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FutureMBA, its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claim, loss, liability, damage, or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the FutureMBA Materials, or your use of FutureMBA Materials in a way that infringes a third party’s rights.
The Site uses third-party services to function — Stripe (payments), Supabase (data), Resend (email), Mux (video where applicable), Sanity (content), Google / Meta / LinkedIn (analytics and ads), Slack (internal notifications). Each of these third parties has its own terms of service and privacy policy.
The Site may link to third-party websites. FutureMBA does not control these and is not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. Use of any third-party site is at your own risk.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to existing members at least thirty (30) days before they take effect and posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site or your account after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Non-material changes (typographic corrections, clarifications that do not affect your rights or obligations) may be made without advance notice.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
Before commencing any formal dispute, the parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute by direct discussion. If unresolved after thirty (30) days of written notice, either party may proceed to the courts of Victoria.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, the European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision is severed and the remaining Terms continue in force.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Guarantee page, are the entire agreement between you and FutureMBA on this subject and supersede all prior agreements.
Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights to a successor in business.
No waiver. Failure by FutureMBA to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision.
Force majeure. Neither party is liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control (natural disaster, war, pandemic, regulatory action, internet outage).
